![]() Rising from the foulest sewers of the land, the Skavenblight Scramblers are the world’s premier Skaven team, consistently beating out their nearest rivals, the Warphunters. Known for being the most prolific cheaters in the game, some of their players are proficient assassins. If you can catch one of them, a superhuman feat to be sure, they struggle to take a hit. Skaven teams are very fast and very sneaky. Gissa G, gissa O, gissa W, gissa J… (etc)” We’ll pull yore hair an’ pinch yore thighĪn’ if dat don’t work, we’ll gouge your eye! ![]() Even when measured against consistent league winners like the Reavers, the Gouged Eye are not to be underestimated – they are steamrolling their way to a championship and wont be stopped. Under the auspices of tribal overlord Gobsuck Skullcrush XII and the extremely sadistic training methods of Severlimb, the Gouged Eye have thrived, and the cycle of violence dolled out in training can be seen in every play the team makes – it’s a rare match against the Gouged Eye that doesn’t end with numerous casualties. The Gouged Eye has risen steadily from its years as a laughing stock, and are now chief contenders for the top spot. This is also true on the road, as the team travels with a veritable Waaagh! of fans wherever they play. Under the dismal, dingy lights of the Doom Dome, the Orcs play with a powerful home-field advantage, and they are all too happy to use their loud, belligerent crowds to intimidate their opponents. ![]() Cause then there whas the fixed price bundle sale of II with the Legendary Edition upgrade and a team pack containing all DLC races so both Day1 player and those that came with the legendary edition had to pay only 80€ for everything while those that came mid between had to pay more.Big, strong and heavily armoured, Orc teams’ preferred tactic is to mangle the opposing players until they litter the pitch and can no longer contest the ball – scoring points is a secondary concern. But I got all the other DLC teams for free until Legendary Edition cause I owned the game before they came while a friend of mine missed this and got later annoyed cause he got so II to late to take full advantage of Founder bonus but to early for Legendary Edition release. I did the mistake of preordering II on Amazon instead of Steam so I had to buy Lizard Men and Wood Elves as I neither had Steam Preorder nor Day 1 Edition who came out physical AFTER the release. Then Legendary came out, and I bought it, getting the full set of teams finally. I remember I had the base game (but bought it not at the time of release, much later) - and I had to purchase wood elves and a few other teams I wanted separately. Originally posted by Konstantin:Well in II you got the new teams for free as a long term customer reward if you owned the game before the team release.ĭidn't know that. I think what really will happen, is that they'll sell the core content (game + extra teams) to the impatient for about the same price they did in BB2 - and then proceed milking the fanbase with some paid cosmetics (which I don't mind at all, and may even buy a few if they are good). I don't think they'll force some "greedy, exploiting" systems on us at all, they understand more than anybody how fragile and niche their market is, and that they shouldn't risk to pressure it to such extent, for a little bit extra revenue. Honestly, I don't share the scepticism everyone seems to exhibit. Also I believe they will still make it possible to acquire the teams (at least) even if you missed the season entirely. If so, it's not that bad - if you see you won't make it in time before the end of the season, you can just swipe your card. I believe what they say is if you'll decide to pay with cash for the current season at some point before it ends, you'll instantly get all its content that has been released so far, including the new team (if it's there to collect). ![]()
